IntrusionGuard Privacy Policy

IntrusionGuard is a security app designed to help the device owner receive an alert when an incorrect lock-screen unlock attempt is detected. The app uses sensitive permissions only for this security purpose.

Information We Collect

IntrusionGuard may collect and process the following information when protection or testing is active:

How The App Uses Camera And Location

The camera and location permissions are used to create an alert after an incorrect lock-screen unlock attempt or when the user manually runs a test. The app does not use these permissions for advertising or unrelated tracking.

Device Administrator Permission

IntrusionGuard requests Android Device Administrator permission so it can detect failed lock-screen password or PIN attempts. The app does not use this permission to erase the device, change the password, or control other apps.

How Alerts Are Sent

When an alert is triggered, the app sends the alert details to NSS LTD servers. NSS LTD servers then send the alert email through an email delivery provider. The Resend API key is stored on the server, not inside the app.

License And Extension Requests

The app checks license status with NSS LTD servers. If a user requests an extension, the request may include the license email, device identifier, device model, current expiry date, and request time. Extensions are reviewed manually and are not approved automatically.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Alert data is shared only as needed to deliver the alert email, operate the license system, maintain the service, comply with law, or protect against abuse.

Data Retention

Alert emails are delivered to the destination email account selected by the user. NSS LTD may keep limited server logs and license records for security, troubleshooting, and license management. Users may request deletion of license or extension request records where legally and technically possible.

User Control

Users can disable protection by removing Device Administrator permission, uninstalling the app, or requesting license deactivation. Users can also change the alert destination email inside the app.

Children

IntrusionGuard is not intended for children under 13. The app should be installed and configured only by the device owner or a person authorized to manage that device.

Security

The app stores configuration on the device using Android encrypted storage. Server-side license and email functions are protected by server-side checks, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
